ToolsNumberListDefault

Syntax:

ToolsNumberListDefault

ToolsNumberListDefault Adds numbers and tab characters to the selected paragraphs and formats the paragraphs with a hanging indent.

NOTE: The ToolsNumberListDefault statement corresponds to the Numbered List button on the toolbar in Word versions 2.x. In Word version 6.0, the Numbering button is on the Formatting toolbar and its corresponding WordBasic statement is FormatNumberDefault.

Example:

This example creates a new template, inserts several paragraphs, and then numbers the paragraphs.

   Sub MAIN
      FileNew .Template - "Normal", .NewTemplate - 0
      For Counter - 1 To 5
         Insert "This is some sample text."
         InsertPara
      Next Counter
      EditSelectAll
      ToolsNumberListDefault
      EndOfDocument
