INF: "Unexpected Error 1031" Using the SecurityWizard

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Microsoft Access SecurityWizard, you receive the error message "Unexpected Error 1031" after the SecurityWizard has transferred the database objects.

CAUSE

This error can occur if you are using the WZSECURE.MDA with Microsoft Access running under Windows 3.1 and do not have the MS-DOS SHARE.EXE program loaded on your computer.

RESOLUTION

Load the MS-DOS program SHARE.EXE with the following steps:

Quit Microsoft Access.
Quit Microsoft Windows.
Add the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and then save the file:
```
      C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE /L:500
```
Restart your computer and run the SecurityWizard again.
