SYMPTOMS

When you set the RowSource property of a list or combo box control to a query name containing commas, the commas are changed to semicolons.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access versions 1.0 and 1.1. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 2.0.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

Create a new query, and then save the query with a name that contains a comma. For example, save your query as "My, Query" (without the quotation marks).
Create a new form and place a combo box control on it.
Set the RowSourceType property of the combo box to Table/Query.
Select "My, Query" as the RowSource property for the combo box.

Note that "My, Query" is changed to "My;Query."
