SYMPTOMS
========

A remnant of the cross-hair mouse cursor remains on the screen if
you select a shape from the shape tool using the right mouse button,
and then select the sizing handle (slider).

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct the display, redraw the screen (that is, minimize, then maximize
the Publisher window).

Steps to Reproduce Problem
--------------------------

1. Run Publisher 2.0.

2. Click the shape tool with the right mouse button.

3. Select a shape that has a slider such as the round-cornered
   rectangle (top-left corner of the placard).

4. Click and drag a round-cornered rectangle.

5. Click the gray sizing handle (slider), then release.

NOTE: A remnant of the cross-hair mouse cursor remains on the
screen.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher version
2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
