SUMMARY
If you want to format a date with leading zeros in single-digit months and days, you can change the Month and Day settings in the International section of the Windows Control Panel.
For example, you may want 7/5/92 to display as 07/05/92 instead.

To add leading zeros to the month or day, use the steps below for your version of Windows:
Windows 95
- Click Start, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Regional Settings.
- On the Date tab, change the Short Date Style to one with double digits, for example, MM/dd/yy.
- Click OK, then close the Control Panel and restart Works.
The above date formats will now have leading zeros on single-digit months and/or days in Windows and Works.
Windows 3.1
- Double-click the Windows Control Panel,usually located in the Main program group of Program Manager.
- Double-click the International icon.
- In the Date Format box, click Change.
- Select the Day Leading Zero(07, 7) or the Month Leading Zero (02, 2) boxes.
- Click OK.
- Click OK to exit the International settings.
- Close Control Panel and restart Works.
The above date formats will now have leading zeros on single-digit months and/or days in Windows and Works.
