SUMMARY
You have the option to create footnotes or endnotes in a Word Processor document. Footnotes appear at the end of each page while endnotes appear at the end of the document. However, you cannot have both footnotes and endnotes in the same document.

To create footnotes:
- Place your cursor where you want to insert a footnote.
- From the Insert menu, choose Footnote.
- Choose either the Numbered or Character Mark button. If you choose Character Mark, type the character you want to use in the Mark box. Choose OK.
- Type the footnote information next to the Footnote Mark.
- Move your mouse pointer back to the main document window and click the left mouse button or press the F6 key on your keyboard to continue typing in your document.
- Repeat steps 1-5 to create additional footnotes.
To create endnotes:
- Follow steps 1-6 above.
- From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
- From the Page Setup box, select the Other Options tab.
- Select the Print Footnotes At End Of Document option and choose OK.
