  1. Q. How do I print envelopes on a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 4 and 4M printer?

    A. When you print standard business envelopes, use the following guidelines:

    If you are printing without a return address, type the mailing address in the upper-left corner of the document. If you are including a return address, type it in the upper-left corner of the document. Insert six blank lines between the return address to the mailing address. Set a left indent at four inches before you type the mailing address.

    Slide the paper width guide to the left until it lightly touches the right side of the envelope. Feed the envelope face up, stamp end first.
