SYMPTOMS

If you attempt to merge a large number of files that ClipArt Gallery will have difficulty loading (for example, the files don’t exist or are not graphics files), you will receive an error message for each file, with no option to cancel the merge operation. The error message will read:

<filename> Cannot find this file.

Please verify that the correct path and filename are given.

This behavior is by design. You will have to acknowledge each error message.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Open a Word Processor document or start a new Word Processor document.
  2. From the Insert menu, choose ClipArt Gallery.
  3. Choose the Options button.
  4. Choose the Add button to merge a group of files.
  5. Press CTRL+ESC to run Task List.
  6. From Task List, select Program Manager and select Switch To.
  7. From Program Manager, start File Manager.
  8. Delete or rename the selected graphics files.
  9. Return to the ClipArt Gallery and choose OK.
