SYMPTOMS
After you access the Windows 16-bit 5250 Session Configuration dialog box the second time, the dialog box is no longer accessible. Any attempts to select the dialog box are ignored. This problem does not occur with the Windows 32-bit version.
RESOLUTION
The CLIENTS3X5250.EXE module has been updated and is available on Library 1 of the MSSNA forum on CompuServe.
To install the updated module, do the following:
- Make sure the 5250 Applet is not running on the Windows 3.x client machine.
- Copy the patched module to the <SNARoot> directory of each Windows 3.x client machine.
- Make sure you update the SNA Server <SNARoot>3X directory if new clients will be installed from the server.
