  • Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, versions 6.0, 6.0.1
  • Microsoft Word for Windows NT, version 6.0

SYMPTOMS

The Word macro editing pane uses the formatting defined for the Macro Text style. However, if you copy text from the macro window into a document window, the formatting is not retained. Word does not apply the Macro Text style to the macro text in the document window.

WORKAROUND

To retain formatting, apply the Macro Text style to the macro text after pasting the text into a document window. To apply the Macro Text style, follow these steps:

  1. Select the macro text in the document window.
  2. On the Format menu, click Style.
  3. In the List box, click All Styles.
  4. In the Styles box, click Macro Text, and then click Apply.
