This sample macro creates a new document, then inserts a list of toolbar names followed by the number of buttons on each toolbar. Once the button number is known, the syntax can be changed to return the number of buttons on a specific toolbar.

   Sub MAIN
      If SelInfo(27) = - 1 Then FileNewDefault
      FileNewDefault    'open a new document
      For i = 1 To CountToolbars(0)
         name$ = ToolbarName$(i)
         numbuttons = CountToolbarButtons(name$)
         Insert name$ + "," + Str$(numbuttons) + Chr$(13)
      Next i
   End Sub
