MORE INFORMATION

TableUpdateAutoFormat

Syntax:

TableUpdateAutoFormat

Example:

This sample macro updates the table containing the insertion point with the characteristics of a predefined table format. If you apply a table format with TableAutoFormat and then insert rows or columns, the table may no longer match the predefined look. TableUpdateAutoFormat restores the format. The following macro inserts a table with the Colorful 3 AutoFormat, inserts another row at the top, then restores the original format with TableUpdateAutoFormat.

   Sub MAIN
      TableInsertTable .ConvertFrom = "", .NumColumns = "4", \
      .NumRows = "4", .InitialColWidth = "Auto", .Format = "10", \
      .Apply = "167"
      TableSelectRow
      TableInsertRow
      CharLeft 1
      MsgBox "The table format is no longer correct"
      TableUpdateAutoFormat
      MsgBox "TableUpdateAutoFormat has corrected the problem"
   End Sub
