SYMPTOMS
The following error message occurs if you attempt to paste a table cell marker into an existing table in a Word for MS-DOS document:
Word cannot insert this text in the existing table.
This usually happens when you select a table cell or a range of cells and then cut or copy them to the scrap.
WORKAROUND
To copy or cut text from one table cell to paste in another, select only the text, and do not include the cell marker.
