   A. To add page numbers in the document header or footer, follow
      these steps:

      1. From the View menu, choose Header or Footer.

      2. Position the insertion point in the location in your header
         or footer where you would like the page number to appear.
         Choose the page number symbol.

      A number will appear. This number will automatically update
      depending on the number of pages in your document.

   2. Q. How do I remove page numbers from the document header or
         footer?

   A. To remove the page number from the header or footer, follow
      these two steps:

      1. From the View menu, choose Header or Footer.

      2. Select the page number and press the DELETE key.

   3. Q. How do I add page numbers in the upper-right corner of the
         document?

   A. To add page numbers in the upper-right corner of the document,
      follow these three steps:

      1. From the Format menu, choose Section.

      2. Under Page Numbers, select the Margin Page Numbers check
         box. Set the measurements in the From Top and From Right
         boxes to determine the location of the page number.

      3. Choose OK.

   4. Q. How do I remove page numbers from the upper-right corner of the
         document?

   A. To remove the page number in the upper-right corner of the
      document, follow these three steps:

      1. From the Format menu, choose Section.

      2. Under Page Numbers, clear the Margin Page Numbers check box.

      3. Choose OK. To verify your changes, choose Print Preview.

   5. Q. How do I add page numbers in print preview?

   A. To add page numbers in print preview, follow these three steps:

      1. From the File menu, choose Print Preview.

      2. Click the page number symbol. The pointer will change to a
         number (the page number pointer).

      3. Move the pointer to the location on the page where you would
         like to insert the page number and click the mouse button.

   6. Q. How do I remove page numbers that were created in print
         preview?
   
   A. To remove the page numbers that were created in print preview,
      follow these four steps:

      1. From the File menu, choose Print Preview and select the page
         margin symbol. The page margins will appear as dotted lines
         on the document.

      2. Move the mouse pointer to the page number. As the pointer
         moves over the number, it will change to a cross hair.

      3. Hold down the mouse button and drag the cross hair into the
         gray area around the page.

      4. Click once in the gray area outside the pages; the page
         number will disappear.
