SUMMARY

You cannot set tabs in the Word Processing module within 1/16th (about 0.06) of an inch of each other. If tabs are placed any closer, Works interprets them as one tab.

MORE INFORMATION

This tab setting is specified due to average screen granularity for video display devices. In most cases, there is not enough room on the ruler to display tabs closer than 1/16th of an inch.

In some video modes, tab settings may be entered closer than 1/16th of an inch. However, Works will treat them as a single tab setting and will use the larger setting to determine where to place characters. As a result, if one of the tab settings is deleted, both tabs will be removed.
