The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Programmer’s WorkBench for MS-DOS, versions 2.0 and 2.1.49

SUMMARY

When using the Programmer’s WorkBench (PWB) version 2.0 or 2.1.49, distributed with Microsoft C/C++ versions 7.0 and 7.0a, respectively, the Project menu option Compile File sometimes may be unavailable (gray). This occurs only if a Project is not set. To change this, choose Project Templates from the Options menu, and then choose Set Project Template. Switching Current Runtime Support from None to C or C++ will enable the Compile File option, allowing subsequent compilation of a single file.
