The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, version 5.0
  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 5.0

SUMMARY

Charts created in Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh versions 1.5 and earlier are not supported in Microsoft Excel version 5.0. In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, if you want to open a chart created in Microsoft Excel version 1.5 or earlier, you must first open and save the chart in Microsoft Excel version 2.x, 3.0 or 4.0.
