SUMMARY
Using the Apply Template command from the File menu changes the template for the entire presentation. It is possible, however, to obtain the look of multiple templates in a presentation. Do the following to apply a second template to a slide within a presentation:
- Open a new presentation and apply the second template to this presentation using the Apply Template command in the File menu.
- Once the template is applied, choose Slide Master from the View menu.
- Select the Master Title box and press the DEL key on the keyboard.
- Select the Master Body box and press the DEL key on the keyboard.
- From the Edit menu, choose Select All.
- From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
- From the View menu, choose Slides.
- From the Slide menu, clear the selection of all the options under Follow Master (that is, Color Scheme, Background Items, Title Style, and Body Style).
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
- From the Arrange menu, choose Send to Back
- From the View menu, choose Slide Sorter.
- Select the slide, and choose Copy from the Edit Menu.
- From the Window menu, select the presentation that you want to apply a slide with the second template.
- From the View menu, choose Slide Sorter.
- Place your cursor where you want to insert the new slide.
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
- From the View menu, choose Slides.
