PRB: "File Not Found" Errors If FoxPro Started from Le MenuID: Q104045 The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you start FoxPro from Le Menu and attempt to set a printer driver or issue the SET PDSETUP TO <setup name> command, one of the following error messages occurs: DRIVER2.PLB file not found. (MS-DOS version) DRIVER2.FLL file not found. (Windows version) CAUSEThis error occurs because GEN_PD.PRG is using the SYS(2004) function to locate the DRIVER2 library. SYS(2004) returns the path and name of the directory that contains the FoxPro executable file. When FoxPro is started from Le Menu with the Program Start option, however, SYS(2004) does not return anything. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, use the Batch File option in Le Menu to start FoxPro rather than the Program Start option. NOTE: This problem affects any FoxPro program that uses SYS(2004) to locate a file. For example, each of the FOXTOOLS sample programs uses SYS(2004) in the SET LIBRARY TO command. Le Menu is manufactured by a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
