SUMMARY

LAN Manager version 2.2 does not permit you to bind TCP/IP to more than one network card. Trying to do so returns an error message under OS/2 and MS- DOS.

MORE INFORMATION

TCP/IP can be bound to only one network card because RFC 1001/1002 compliant components (such as LAN Manager's TINYRFC) can be bound to only one.

LAN Manager version 2.2 can support up to four network cards in a machine; NetBEUI can support up to eight; COMTOKR (Remoteboot) can support up to twelve.
