SYMPTOMS

In PowerPoint 3.0, you may get the following message when you try to run Microsoft Graph from within PowerPoint:

Sorry, unable to find the editor for MS Graph.

This may occur following an improper installation of PowerPoint, or following a reinstallation of the Macintosh operating system. This may occur because Microsoft Graph is not registered or is improperly registered in the Embedding Preferences file.

MORE INFORMATION

Use the following steps to run Microsoft Graph from within PowerPoint:

  1. From Finder, enter the System Folder:Extensions Folder:Microsoft Folder:MS Graph folder.

  2. Double-click the Graph icon. This starts Graph.

  3. Graph will show the following error message:

You can only run Microsoft Graph from within another application. Quit now?

    Click Yes.

  4. Return to PowerPoint and access the Graph feature.

Once this has been done, Graph will be available from within PowerPoint.
