The SET SYSMENU ON command does not remove the system menu in FoxPro for Windows. SET SYSMENU ON was originally used in FoxBASE+ (which has no system menu); FoxBASE+ required that the ALT or F10 key be pressed to bring up the system menu. Since all Windows-based applications have menus, the system menu will be visible in FoxPro for Windows when SET SYSMENU ON is issued. Therefore, the following commands will remove the system menu in FoxPro for MS-DOS but not in FoxPro for Windows: SET SYSMENU ON @ 2,2 GET var DEFAULT "Hello" READ Additional reference words: FoxDos FoxWin 1.02 2.00 2.50 2.50a KBCategory: kbprg kbprb KBSubcategory: FxprgGeneral |
