SYMPTOMS
If you use the DBLSPACE /L command in MS-DOS 6.2, you receive the following error message:
Ambiguous switch - /L
CAUSE
DoubleSpace allows the shortest common unique identifier for command- line parameters. Since the only MS-DOS 6.0 DoubleSpace command-line parameter that starts with the letter L is /LIST, /L is allowed as an abbreviation in MS-DOS 6.0. MS-DOS 6.2 DoubleSpace supports two command-line parameters that begin with the letter L: /LIST and /LASTDRIVE.
RESOLUTION
In MS-DOS 6.2, you can use the following:
