- Microsoft MS-DOS operating system version 6.2

SYMPTOMS

If you use the DBLSPACE /L command in MS-DOS 6.2, you receive the following error message:

Ambiguous switch - /L

CAUSE

DoubleSpace allows the shortest common unique identifier for command- line parameters. MS-DOS 6.2 DoubleSpace supports two command-line parameters that begin with the letter L: /LIST and /LASTDRIVE.

RESOLUTION

In MS-DOS 6.2, you can use the following:

Full Command Abbreviated Form ———————————————

DBLSPACE /LIST DBLSPACE /LI DBLSPACE /LASTDRIVE DBLSPACE /LA
