Document Window Cut Off on Radius Pivot Monitor

PSS ID Number: Q103307 Article last modified on 03-07-1997

====================================================================== 5.10 MACINTOSH kbhw

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 5.1

SYMPTOMS

Rotating a Radius Pivot monitor from the portrait to the landscape position often causes the bottom of the Word document to be cut off. In versions of Word earlier than 5.1, double-clicking on the title bar aligns the bottom of the text window with the bottom of the screen. This does not work correctly in Word 5.1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 5.10 of Word for the Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

To avoid this problem, resize the text window by dragging the size box in the lower-right corner of the document window before pivoting the monitor.
