MORE INFORMATION ================ Appendix A (pages 365-370) of the "Microsoft Publisher User's Guide" describes how to use a file called NORMAL.PUB to set default settings for Publisher commands. Page 369 states that NORMAL.PUB can control the Show/Hide Rulers command on the Tools menu. This is incorrect. If you set the command to Hide Rulers in NORMAL.PUB the rulers will still appear. Other commands that you set in NORMAL.PUB will execute as expected. (Show Rulers is the default for new Publisher documents.)
