If you are using the Microsoft Windows 3.1 Hewlett-Packard (HP) Plotter driver with Microsoft Project, the text in a header may not be centered correctly if the top, middle, and bottom lines are different font sizes.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. From the File menu, choose Print Setup.

  2. From the list of printers, select the HP Plotter and choose OK.

  3. From the File menu, choose Page Setup.

  4. In the Header section, type the following and press SHIFT+ENTER:

&CThis is a test to center text in a header

  5. Repeat step 4 for the next line in the header.

  6. Choose the Text button.

  7. In the Item To Change list, select Header Top and change the font size to 14.

  8. Repeat step 7 for Header Middle, but change the font size to 12.

  9. In the Text dialog box, choose OK, and choose OK again in the Page Setup dialog box.

When you choose Print Preview from the File menu, note that the second line in the header is not centered under the first line.
