PSS ID Number: Q102763 Article last modified on 08-13-1993

3.10 WINDOWS

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Win32 Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows NT version 3.1

The online documentation for WM_ENTERIDLE states the following: The WM_ENTERIDLE message informs an application’s main window procedure that a modal dialog box or menu is entering an idle state. However, the message is actually sent to the owner window of the dialog box, which is not necessarily the application’s main window. This functionality is identical to Windows version 3.1.
