SYMPTOMS<br />
========<br />
<br />
Microsoft Publisher allows you to perform a network workstation<br />
installation of a shared copy of Publisher by running Setup with the<br />
appropriate command line switch:<br />
<br />
setup.exe /n<br />
<br />
When you run this command from Program Manager or File Manager, it<br />
works fine; however, the following error message is generated when<br />
this command is run from an MS-DOS command prompt:<br />

This program requires Microsoft Windows<br />
<br />
A stand-alone installation or network administrator installation of<br />
Publisher will run from MS-DOS by automatically launching Windows.<br />
This problem only occurs when doing a network workstation installation<br />
of a shared copy of Publisher.<br />

WORKAROUND<br />
==========<br />
<br />
Run the workstation installation from either Program Manager or File<br />
Manager.<br />
<br />
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information<br />
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.<br />
