SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Arcade fails with an illegal instruction error on RISC-based computers.

CAUSE

Microsoft Arcade uses 386 instructions for its sound dynamic-link library (DLL). Microsoft Arcade fails because emulation is provided only for 286 instructions on a RISC-based computer.
