Incorrect Column Alignment when Printing a Spreadsheet

Article ID: 101795

Article Last Modified on 9/24/2003

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Works 2.0 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Works 2.0a

This article was previously published under Q101795

SYMPTOMS

When you print a spreadsheet, the column alignment may be incorrect if the Print Draft Quality check box is selected or if Draft Quality is selected in Printer Setup, even though Print Preview looks correct.

NOTE: This is especially noticeable on columns with a center alignment.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, clear the Print Draft Quality option in the Print dialog box to disable this option or select Letter Quality (or anything other than Draft Quality) in the Printer Setup dialog box.

NOTE: Not all printer drivers have a Draft Quality option available in the Printer Setup dialog box.
