SUMMARY
When you use the MergePRD utility, supplied with Word for MS-DOS, to install TrueType fonts from the Microsoft TrueType Font Pack 1 or 2 disks, the following error message may occur if MergePRD cannot find the requested file on the disk you placed in the floppy disk drive:
Cannot Open Input File
WORKAROUND
Place one of the other TrueType Font Pack disks in the floppy disk drive. The error message no longer appears when MergePRD finds the requested file.
MORE INFORMATION
MergePRD requests the TrueType Font Pack disk on which it expects to find the requested file. Sometimes MergePRD requests the wrong disk if you supplied the wrong disk size information or if you have low-density disks.
