SYMPTOM

The preview margins in the Line Up Objects dialog box are static. In other words, no matter what your margins are set to, the graphical representation of those margins in the Line Up Objects dialog will always display as if the margins were set at approximately 1 inch.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Open a blank page.
  2. From the Layout menu, choose Layout Guides.
  3. Set the left, right, top, and bottom margin guides to 3 inches. Choose OK.
  4. Draw two objects with the Drawing tools.
  5. Select both objects.
  6. From the Layout menu, choose Line Up Objects.

Notice that the preview margins displayed look as though they are set at approximately 1 inch.
