Report Missing from File Open Dialog Box in FoxBASE+/Mac
Last reviewed: January 13, 1995
Article ID: Q101299
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft FoxBASE+ for the Macintosh, versions 2.0 and 2.01
When you are loading a report form in FoxBASE+/Mac, it may not appear in the File Open dialog box (with "Report" selected for opening). If the All Files check box is selected, the report shows up but has no extension. Attempting to load the file at this point will cause a blank report to come up for editing. This problem may be caused by an INIT or Extension conflict with FoxBASE+ or the system software. Disable all Extensions or INITs and try to reload the report form.
To disable all Extensions or INITs:
- Under System 7.0, press the SHIFT key while restarting the machine to disable all Extensions. Once the logo "Welcome to Macintosh/Extensions Off" appears, release the SHIFT key.
- Under System 6.0x, drag each INIT out of the System Folder and restart the Macintosh.
NOTE: You may not be able to remove all the Extensions or INITs; some may be needed to run the Macintosh. Remove as many INITs or Extensions as possible.
