The information in this article applies to:

SUMMARY

The earlier version of the Dvorak keyboard drivers for MS-DOS (DVORAK.SYS dated 12/11/92) has the following problems:

  • ALT+keys were not rearranged when running some applications (such as Microsoft MS-DOS Editor).
  • The [{ and ]} keys were incorrect in the two-handed layout.
  • The L and 7 keys were exchanged in the left-handed layout.

The Dvorak keyboard drivers for MS-DOS in the DVORAK.SYS file dated 12/11/92 were distributed on the MS-DOS Supplemental Disk and with Application Note GA0650. Both the MS-DOS Supplemental Disk and Application Note GA0650 were updated on 4/23/93 to contain the new updated Dvorak keyboard drivers for MS-DOS (DVORAK.SYS dated 4/7/93).
