Graph Missing Text When Printing from Access to HP LaserJet |
ID: Q100985
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows 3.1
- Microsoft Access for Windows, versions 1.0, 1.1
- Microsoft Graph for Windows, version 1.0
SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Access, if you print to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet printer using the HPPCL5A driver or the HPPCL5E driver with the graphics mode set to Raster, the first embedded graph on the printed page is missing text.
RESOLUTION
If you have an HP LaserJet 4 series printer and are using the HPPCL5E driver, you can print the graphs correctly by setting the graphics mode to HPGL/2 in the Options dialog box of Printer Setup.
For HP LaserJet Series III printers, you can correct this problem by using the updated HPPCL5MS.DRV.
