== SUMMARY ==

Works for Windows does not recognize dates before January 1, 1900 or after June 3, 2079 as valid entries in the spreadsheet or database. If a date outside of this range is entered in decimal format, the cell displays number signs (####).
== MORE INFORMATION ==

Dates are maintained as values from 1.00 (corresponds to January 1, 1900, 12:00:00 AM) to 65534.99999 (corresponds to June 3, 2079, 11:59:59 PM ). The value to the left of the decimal place corresponds to the date; the value to the right of the decimal indicates the time of day. Therefore, formatting any number as a date smaller than 1.00 or greater than 65534.99999 is an invalid entry and will display as pound signs (####).

In Works for Windows versions 4.0 and later, any date that is greater than June 3, 2079 is entered as text.
