Works does not directly support the Canon PR-500 printer. The PR-500 printer is a daisy wheel printer and the best results are with the Standard Daisy wheel driver, TTYWHEEL.PRD. In Works 2.0, this driver is available on the Microsoft Works Conversion and Supplemental Setup Kit #2. In Works 3.0, the driver is available on the Supplemental Printer Drivers Kit #1.
Microsoft has not tested this emulation and therefore cannot guarantee proper functionality.
To obtain the supplemental kit, call Microsoft End User Sales at (800) 426-9400 and request the Microsoft Works Conversion and Supplemental Setup Kit #2 for Works version 2.0 or the Supplemental Printer Drivers Kit #1 for Works version 3.0, respectively.
