SUMMARY
LIB32.EXE converts object modules (.OBJ files) into COFF objects before inserting them into a library. Therefore, a Microsoft format .OBJ file (non-COFF) inserted into a library will not have the same size when it is extracted from the library.
This should not be a problem because the Visual C++ compiler produces COFF objects.
