The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for MS-DOS, version 6.0 - Microsoft Works for MS-DOS, version 3.0

SYMPTOMS

If your multiple-column Word for MS-DOS document is formatted as described below, text in the second and subsequent column(s) prints shifted to the right approximately two spaces on the IBM 4019 printer using IBM4019.PRD:

  • Document is formatted for two or more columns.
  • Text is formatted for Courier 8 pt.
  • Left column is formatted for centered alignment.

This problem does not occur if you format the text for Courier 12 pt.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem also occurs in Microsoft Works version 3.0 for MS-DOS.
