The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Musical Instruments for the Macintosh, version 1.0

Summary:

If you have a standard Macintosh speaker, you may not be able to hear the following sounds:

  • Timpani (when played with a mallet)
  • Gong Ageng
  • Double Bass (the lowest string)

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Musical Instruments version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
