SUMMARY:
If there are more than 128 items (items include font files and suitcases) in your Macintosh System Font Folder, versions 7.5.5 and earlier, you will receive one of the following messages:
There are more than 128 font files in the Fonts folder. Some fonts may not be available for use.
The Macintosh cannot use any more fonts at this time; only 128 fonts can be used at once.
MORE INFORMATION:
This error message is a limit on the number of font suitcases that can be placed in the Font folder. A suitcase may contain multiple fonts.
To work around this problem, combine multiple typefaces into one suitcase by copying the files from one or more suitcases into one suitcase, and place the one suitcase in the Fonts folder.
