Internet Explorer 5.5 is the second release of Internet Explorer 5. A pre-release build was included in Windows Neptune build 5111. The final version was released with Windows Millennium Edition and was made available for Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98 and 98 Second Edition, as well as Windows 2000.

This is the last version that will officially run on Windows 95.
