Internet Explorer 11 is the eleventh version of the popular Internet Explorer browser developed by Microsoft. It is currently in development, and will be included with the Windows 8.1 operating system by default.

New features include improved support for touch, a Modern download manager, support for the WebGL Javascript API, and support for the SPDY protocol (version 3).

Internet Explorer 11 was released for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 systems, but not for Windows 8 users. Windows 8 users need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 in order to obtain the Internet Explorer upgrade.
