New Tab

Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of the popular Internet Explorer browser developed by Microsoft. It is included with the Windows 8.1 operating system by default, and is also available for Windows 7 SP1 users. An IE11 update was released for Windows 8.1 Update 1, which includes features like Enterprise Mode.

New features include improved support for touch, a Modern download manager, support for the WebGL Javascript API, and support for the SPDY protocol (version 3).

Internet Explorer 11 was released for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 systems, but not for Windows 8 users. Windows 8 users need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 in order to obtain the Internet Explorer upgrade.
