SYMPTOMS

When you visit the Zune.net Web site, you receive the following error message:

Your internet privacy settings currently block cookies. To access the Zune Marketplace, follow the instructions below to enable options ...

CAUSE

You experience this behavior when the Web browser is configured not to allow cookies from the Zune.net Web site.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. Configure the Web browser to allow cookies from the Zune.net Web site.

    Note If you use a Web browser other than Internet Explorer, see the support information for that browser.

    To configure Internet Explorer to allow cookies from the Zune.net Web site, follow these steps:

    1. Start Internet Explorer.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    3. On the Privacy tab under Settings, move the slider to a setting that is no higher than Medium High.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Close all Internet Explorer windows.
  2. Restart Internet Explorer, and then again try to access the Zune.net Web site.
