SYMPTOMS
When you try to associate a file with a SoftGrid-enabled application, the SoftGrid Client reports the following error message:
Therefore, the application does not start as expected.
CAUSE
This problem occurs in the following scenario:
- When a file that is not associated with a SoftGrid file type is opened in the Softricity SoftGrid Client Tray, the "SoftGrid – New File Type" window is displayed. If you click Cancel in this situation, the error code that is described in the "Symptoms" section is displayed.
