SUMMARY
When you try to start Microsoft SoftGrid, the program does not respond and you receive the following error message:
When this problem occurs, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Client log file (Sftlog.txt):
Additionally, the following entry is logged in the SoftGrid Virtual Application Server log file (Sft-server.log):
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the following conditions are true:
- The application is started by using a shortcut that refers to an application that does not exist in the SoftGrid Client cache.
This condition is typical when a user creates a custom shortcut to an application that is later removed from the SoftGrid Client cache.
- The application is started from the command line, and the following conditions are true:
- The command-line command is sfttray.exe.
- The command-line options are not all in lowercase or are missing.
Note The command-line options are case sensitive.
- The application is started from the command line, and the following conditions are true:
- The command-line command is sfttray.exe.
- The application name is not formatted by using the correct case.
Note The application name is case sensitive.
