When you apply policies that put the personal folder (.pst) file in update mode or in replace mode in Microsoft Office Outlook, users who have an existing .pst file receive the following error message:
This problem occurs on a computer that has DesktopStandard PolicyMaker Standard Edition or DesktopStandard Profile Maker Professional installed.
This problem occurs because the .pst file has become corrupted or unreadable.
To resolve this problem, run the Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe). This tool is located in the following folder on the client computer:
