Error message when you try to install SoftGrid Virtual Application Server: "Line 3: Incorrect syntax near '-'"

When you try to install SoftGrid Virtual Application Server, you may receive the following error message:

The installation program encountered an error when attempting to execute a database statement. Line 3: Incorrect syntax near '-'.

This issue may occur if a database name contains a hyphen. SoftGrid Virtual Application Server does not support the use of hyphens in database names.

To work around this problem, install only databases that do not have hyphens in their names.
